About : The comic follows our two hapless solderer, Sniper and Scorch. Only distinguishable from marking on their helmets and choice of guns. The comic follows them in the war between Reds (Scorch and Snipers army), Blue and Yellow as they fight and generally waste time or try to escape from the postapocalyptic city their in. Really, all Sniper and Scorch want to do either not die and get the hell out of the city. Apart from that they really just go from place to place stealing tanks and being saved when they get captured.
Review : War has never been so funny (in my eyes). The GWTB (Gone With The Blastwave) comic is a great mix of comedy from a personnel view (Sniper and Scorch messing about with Blue’s and Yellow’s) as well as comedy from the surrounding (form the comic where Sniper and Scorch find a car only to be stopped because the rubble everywhere).
The city scape used works well with the war setting as it allows for a great random mix. Crumbling building and mutant things running about add a hint of life to an overall dead and horrible setting.
What more can I say, you really need to read some of the comic to get it.
Score : 8/10 Would be more but few updates are annoying as the comic is soooo good.
