About : The main story (which is in chapters with a different arc in each) Antimony Carver in the massive school of Gunnerkrigg Court a technology school with a few secrets under it’s looks. Along with Antimony Carver the story also follows Katerina ‘Kat’ Donlan who best friend in the court and Reynardine a mythical demon stuck in the body of a toy.
Review : I like this comic for the main reason of it’s not another gaming comic using crude mario jokes. It’s a really well done thing covering allot of different genres but doing it so they all fit. Splitting the school (robots and tech) from the forest (trees, pixies and nature) helps to give a better idea of the distance the two wish to keep from each other.
Also the lines do blurr on occasion but it still work well for the story overall. Each character has their own quirks and little story to go with them so each one feel well defined.
The art style as well as developed nicely over the three hundred or so comics to give a nice natural look as earlier comics where a bit pointy.
I really like this comics, it’s just well done. It has comedy and drama as well as a few moving monuments…..and some weird ones like when a kid turns into a bird because he wasn’t paying attention when his parents asked him.
Overall : Good 9/10 for the fact that’s it’s a good solid read.
