What to do now : Broken 360 conti…

Well the 360 is dead.

Now  I’m debating even buying another.

It’s expensive, I don’t use Live really, get’s dusty alot, only have six games for it.

I do have a plan though. The pad and Les Gibson controllers I can use on my PC with a Window controller receiver….thingy. I can easily hook my PC to Tv for any multiplayer games on the PC (WORMS!). So that still retains the “mates round for games” aspect.

So why buy another. It’s £200 I could spend else where and since I got my 7900GTO from good Mr Craig of CPCFF my graphics are lovely.

I would miss Bioshock as I never finished it but sod it.Could sell my games for a bit and if I find someone stupid the console as well (eBay! Well broken ones go for a fair bit).

So should I or shouldn’t I?

Looking at the lineup there isn’t anything that good looking. Not anything I would want to play. I’ve played Dead Rising to death and I still have my faithful PS2 (3 years and still going).

The ONLY thing I do want is the next GTA game but that will come on PC and be modded up the wing wang like Vice City which you can now play as a MMO….sort of.

So, Yes or No on the new 360?

NO Adam. Bin it. Use the Case to make a LAN PC, or as a small lunchbox. PC’s have sex wildly in the bedrooms of X-Box 360s’. Well, they would if hardware owned houses and threw parties.

I’m beginning to wish i’d never said a thing.

Yeah, punt it as damaged repairable.

If you bought your 360 in the last 3 years, then you can send it to Microsoft and they will repair it for free. You don’t have to pay postage or anything. http://www.xbox.com/support

There’s some good games coming out this year - e.g. the 360 is the lead console for Fallout 3.

I was gonna say - I’ve heard there are a couple of issues that are covered as I’ve heard a couple of friends have had to send theirs back so it might be worth ringing them as Ben W says. Definitely worth a shot. You can still sell it afterwards though!

Well if you do send it back to M$ and it works again I suggest you try one of these!
