Currently I’m in the market for a new console (in the market for a lot of things though, new CPU, new MOBO, new PSU) as my old 360 died and is now slowly getting coved in dust.
My 1st thought was a new 360 but they are expensive and if I was going to spend the money why not just get a Ps3? I like the games on it, free online play, few hooting *insert insulting of choice here* heads. So why not? Could play Motorstorm all I like, Ratchet & Clank. It would be awesome!
It would seem the people at MS heard my internal thoughts and have now kicked £50-ish off the price of the bog standard 360 bringing it down to Wii land at £150 odd. Which is damn good for the price. I happen to have £120 (in vouchers) from trading in my OLD 360 and Ps2 kit. Now that I sold all the 360 stuff should I go back to it?
I mean, I don’t play online (£££), I don’t like 80% of the people on Live, I don’t like allot of the games (Halo = Crap), but it is damn cheap! Like silly cheap, like I can buy another mini for double that cheap (good in the world of mini, unless it’s a basket case).
So now I don’t know what to do! Do I stave off consoles till GTA:IV comes out then get a Ps3 or do I attempt to deal with hooting *insult* head and go the route of the buggy 360 once more?
Such a quandary!
