Oh man,What a long ass few days I’ve had. I decied to finally get around to changing my single car to a pair of twin HS2’s on El Odio (my Hornet).

This changining the manifold, exhaust, routing new petrol lines, balancing, setting up. A fair few things all in the lovely tiny space of a mini engine bay.

So I pulled out the old exhaust and fitted the new one fairly quick (new exhaust also boils me petrol … which is bad). Then found I needed carb locator rings so the carbs lined up.

Orded them, fast forward 3 days.

Fitted the carbs, this meant taking them apart to get to the last manifold nuts. Next sorted the petrol lines. Then spent an hour “tweaking” the engine juuuust the way I wanted it.

Now, I have an epic little engine. Ported head, big exhaust (not chav boy racer big, but bigger than stock) and a lovely couple of ram pipe fitted carbs.

Lovely, do need to clean my engine bay some day. So now I stink of petrol, my back hurts, my eyes hurt and my engine boils petrol.

Damnit! It was worth it!
