Top Gear & Bioshock 2, WHOOP!

Big_Adam

Posted in Games, Tv, Motors on October 23, 2008 at 10:50 am

Slight joygasum today from Kotaku and Jalopnik today, two little clips of video give so much joy for my morning.

Top Gear Season 12 Teaser – A nice little trailer/advert for the new season of Top Gear is out and about and it looks like they are going to be do more dicking about in expensive and stupid cars for the sake of it, as well as another road trip. I really do enjoy the stupid thing they do on Top Gear. Sure the road test of VERY expensive cars is nice but that’s not my thing. I’m a British/American old cars lover; I want either something from BMC or something with a V8 to drive around in. Also Top Gear has the one thing we all love.

Failure.

Top Gear has the classic line of “ambitious but rubbish” and is shown in all challenges they do. Car boats, tractor testing, van testing, limos and the rest where all stupid and all (mostly) failed. This is what I love to see.

So, new Top Gear is going to be awesome.

Top Gear Teaser Trailer

Bioshock 2 – As a few of you know I was a mighty fan of Bioshock. I could explore, not fight and let other things do all the work for me (freeze, hack, repeat). Main problem with Bioshock was the replay value, or lack there of. Really, once you had gone through Bioshock you really didn’t have to do it again unless you really wanted to.

So the new trailer doesn’t really give a whole lot away.

SPOILERS FOR BIOSHOCK 1!

You see an older Little Sister (which won’t make sense if you went for the “evil git” ending”) standing on a beach with a Big Daddy/Bouncer/Mr.Bubbles doll while looking out to sea, then a Rapture city pops out of the sand. It all looks rather nice but I’ve got no clue as to what the hell they are going to do with it.

No, really where can the story go. The two ending where either “Save the world of Rapture” and become some sort of godly all loving figure or you destroy everything and all hell busts loose. Unless it’s going to be a completely un-conjoined story where we have a revisit to Rapture, in which case it makes no sense as the first time round that place was cleared out.

Oh well, we’ll have to wait and see how it all pans out. Still, I’m looking forward to it.

Lost Joy Of Tv.

Big_Adam

Posted in Tv on October 15, 2008 at 11:53 pm

Fabulous thing the internet, it makes it so I can watch weird crap and cartoon from around the world. So, this week I have been mostly watching:

The Venture Brothers - The entire show is really a pi$$ take of “Johnny Quest” and pretty much every other “boy adventure” thing but with more blood and violence in the form of Brock Sampson. The show revolves around all the clichés of super villains and their henchmen as well as the main family getting out of situations. The series makes such fun of other series that it even has a part 2 of an episode with no part one just for the hell of it. It’s bloody brilliant and funny bit of programming.

Dirty Jobs – A documentary about Dirty Jobs around the world. Some of it is rather mild (rendered animal fat onto ropes) but then there are some jobs that just seem horrible (bus wash tank cleaner, large dark box full of oil/grease/road dirt) and all rather dirty and nasty. It’s just funny to watch some guy get coved in disgusting stuff. I can’t help it, it’s compelling.

Ruby Gloom – Another cartoon but hey, I like it. It’s a bit … I hasten to add gothic as it’s not really the correct style. Out of context would be better. It’s about a girl (Ruby Gloom) and her various friends (I like Misery, she’s awesome!) having adventure with a slightly dark twist (Edger Allen Poe references and a guy made of Bone as well as a bat, who’s afraid of everything). It’s stilly, slightly perky but I like it. It’s getting harder and harder to find good western cartoons (bit sick of anime of late, nothing good out).

Mythbusters – Ah, a techy wet dream of a show. Many of you will already know of it but for the rest, Mythbusters is a show about busting myths. Sounds simple but they apply a large amount of science along with explosions and destruction and 45% more robots. Two main presenters are Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage who are a bit chalk and cheese but they work well together. The duo tend to find a myth, define it fully, add science then more than likely blow something up. If science class was like this, I would have paid MUCH more attention! It’s big, silly, sciencey and a joy to watch.

Bar them it’s mostly been a collection of random stuff and weird fetish porn that I really need to stop watching at some point.

Errr, so … did I have a point?

Sure I did at some point.

Errrmm ….

Suggestions on other stuff for me to watch?

I Am The MAXX : Comic Review.

Big_Adam

Posted in Tv, Comic on September 3, 2008 at 11:05 am

As a few of you might have twigged, I love comics. It’s a rather new love for me but still I do really enjoy a good comic. One I picked up via the internet was “The Maxx” by Sam Kieth. I’ve had this comic on my drive for a while and never got round to reading it as I really hate reading loads of text on my computer screen. Typed text is okay but comic text doesn’t work.So I never got round to reading it.

A short while after I managed to find “The Maxx” on Youtube. So I sat down with some cereal and watched it. The series was made for MTV back when MTV used to actually play something other than reality shows, back when they played music! Anyway, watched the series and I’ll be damned if it wasn’t really good! It was up my street of weird and wonderful. So I set about trying to find the comic issues on eBay. The occasional one or two popped up but I wanted the full set and I prefer trade (collections of “X” number of comics) compared to single comics. Much searching and a few emails to Heroes4Sale I managed to procure a full new set of all six trade books (Thanks to Michael of Heroes4Sale!).

So, that long rambling brings me to my point, a review of “The Maxx” series of books. To start, lets have some back story to what “The Maxx” is, or more who he is. To make my ramblings simpler, here’s the sonopsis from Wikipedia.

The series follows the adventures of the titular hero in the real world and in an alternate reality, referred to as The Outback. In the real world the Maxx is a vagrant while in the Outback he is the protector of the Jungle Queen. The Jungle Queen is similar to the Maxx in that she also exists in the real world as Julie Winters, a freelance social worker who often bails the Maxx out of jail. While the Maxx is aware of the Outback, Julie is not, though it is integral to the story of both the Maxx and Julie.

Wiki

(Hey! I either quote or ramble on for a crap load longer, you’re choice)

So, that’s the basics of it. The story goes on to follow both Maxx and Julie as they sort out both plains of existence (real and The Outback) all with the help/hindrance of Mr Gone (“a student of the mystic arts” as he puts it). Mr Gone is the main sort of bad guy for Maxx (Lex Luther to Superman). Later on his true self becomes apparent as he slowly becomes, well … less evil really. Let me breake all this down, or I’m going to be here forever with this review.

Story

The collection starts off well in the first three or so books. The first three books are a collaboration of Sam Kieth and Messner-Loebs. The story is well rounded and makes sence, some parts are a bit confusing but they do work. My problem is with the later three books where Julie has gone AWOL and Maxx is left with Sarah as they sort out Mr Gone stuff and Sarah works though her own stuff (as she’s not the main focus in the first three books really). My problem is with the Sarah story line, well … it’s bat-sh*t insane at some points and I got REALLY confused by the end of it, just because a lot of characters where introduced for the soul reason of (as far as I could see) fluff. Sarah grandfather is introduced but no one (not Maxx, Sarah or Gone) meet him and he’s gone (away, not dead) after a rather short time. Okay, the Sarah has its good bits such as meeting her own Maxx, the floating fairly pink IDZ’s and the Banana Slug (A massive yellow slug that spouts self help nonsense then chops people up). Although, with the end Sarah story comes the ending and of the entire story so it all gets nicely wrapped up, with each character having a nice little bit to show how it all ends for them.

Books/Story.

Then there’s book six. Book six has NOTHING to do with “The Maxx” series and is an entirely different animal altogether. It follows two sets of people; Dude and Mickey a couple who are attempting (and at time failing at times) to stay together while growing up in their 20-30’s. Then there’s the story/travel of Charley and Ira. Ira (just out from prison) somehow ends up on a trip with his Uncle Charley which consists of Charley attempting to teach Ira how to be man, hookers, dead bodies and teeth in a bumper. Think a sort of coming of age but with low riders, truckers and Rocky Horror Picture show. Although neither of these stories really fit in with The Maxx timeline I did like the one about Ira and his Uncle, it was nice and I just enjoyed it.

Art.

As normally, I’m swayed by pretty pictures of The Maxx series. At times the drawings are VERY crude and well … crappy but at other times their glorious to look at. It’s like the entire series was done at random times and 2.00am’s when ever the writer/artist could get a chance so the style is schizophrenic at times but is fairly solid throughout (check the pics for examples of good and bad).

Worth.

Hmmm, well. I really did enjoy reading the entire series of books. Problem is I had to go through the trouble of importing them and it did cost me a bit. Although I’ve paid more for my four Transmetropolitan books than I did for the entire The Maxx series so that comes into account. I’d say if you’ve seen the series (I’ll put links up then get told off) and possibly read one or two of the books from the internet (they float about, still recommend buying them over downloading) and you want something weird and wonderful to read then give them a shot. It’s not JTHM weird, as JTHM is weird and violent as I’d expect from JV. The Maxx is still weird and very good (was for me). So give it a look, maybe pick up a copy in a comic shop and have a flick through.

Score.

8/10

Pictures.

Videos -

Note, due to the way the series was made it is almost identical to the first few comics. Even the art looks like it was lifted from the comic. This wasn’t a cheap out tactic,  Sam Kieth wrote a comic and he wanted it to retain it’s comic fell which is dose so wonderfully! So if you like these, you’ll probably like the comics themselves. That said, parts are heavily changed in order to make the series short and have an ending.

>>Full Serie<<

Oddly, the easiest place to find the series is YouTube as its only rarely seen on VHS on eBay now.

Kitt - Oh no, WHY!

Big_Adam

Posted in Tv, Motors on July 27, 2008 at 9:52 am

Right, I’m going to just post these here to show that the persons doing the “new” Knight Rider must have NO DAMN CLUE what the original series was like.Let start with KITT. Well, he/it is a Mustang. A shape shifting Mustang. A shape shifting Mustang that sounds like a berk.

That is Kitt in SUPER Pursuit mode … err yeah. Looks crappy.

Not convinced, well people over at jalopnik.com have a video to FURTHER convince how bad this series will be, unless they really (and I mean REALLY) fix it.

>>LINKY<<

So, there you have it. Another series ruined.

Save Kallen Damn it!

Big_Adam

Posted in Tv, Anime on July 25, 2008 at 10:01 am

Over the past few months I’ve been watching Code Geass. I love Code Geass since the first season. It was a bit like Death Note (in the idea of suspense) on what it did to me so the R2 season was a must.

So, the series has been plodding along. Lelouch has been attempting to overthrow the empire while attempting to still be a semi-normal (if slightly insane) school snob person. Which is all very lovely, I have no problem with it.

My problem is with Kallen Stadtfeld. Kallen pilot a knigmare frame (big robot) and was the ace of the Black Knights (Lelouch personal army of sort). Few weeks back now she was capture by the empire and has since been sitting in a fancy glass tube of a prison. Then left and not herd of since.

Pardon? You’ve leaving a main character along why? What the hells going on with that. Kallen had a good story going for her then she gets chucked in prison and nothing heard from her again. Lelouch not even uttered a word about getting her back!

This sort of thing annoys the hell out of me. Where a plot point is introduced then just sort of left to rot for a while leaving everything else to get on with it.

Just had to moan about that.

In Anime This Week : Vol 4

Big_Adam

Posted in Tv, Anime on June 3, 2008 at 10:51 pm

Yeah, it’s still technical Tuesday. I’ve been ill. I should really see a doctor at some point but mines such a git to see why bother. Then again I do seem to be loosing more blood that seems “normal” so might have to try again.

Oh well.

Right, anime.

Not allot this week due to ill and laziness.

Oooow: Kaibutsu Oujo

“After receiving his sister’s letter of invitation, Hiyomi Hiro goes to the house indicated on the map, but finds it abandoned. Its gate is locked and the windows are boarded up. He has no choice but to go back to town on foot. There, he finds a cart loaded with a pile of furniture.

The person pulling the cart is a strange looking little girl in a maid costume, and at the top of the furniture pile, there sits a beautiful girl with long hair in a black one-piece dress. The cart is stuck in a ditch and will not move.

Then, an iron pillar of a building under construction falls. Hiro protects the girl but is crushed under the pillar. He is sent to a hospital, but there is nothing they can do for him and he passes away.

Suddenly, the girl appears in front of his body in the mortuary. She then says these strange words to Hiro: “This is a good body.”

The girl stands and holds her index finger up over his body. Then, fireballs gather around her finger. They drop onto the white cloth covering his face, and a heat haze appears around his body…”

~Fansub TV~

Another odd one, I like odd. Only seen one ep so far and really it’s … interesting. I think the 1st ep of any series need to grab you a little and this dose it with it’s giant wolf men, robot girls, vampires and multiples deaths of one guy.

Really, I can’t say much having only seen one ep of the series so far but I think I’m going to like it. Has some good action, it’s not ANOTHER ecchi comedy harem thing and it’s got some good action (something I’ve been lacking since “Black Lagoon”). More news and a better review when I see more, then I can tell you if it’s crap or not.

Good!: Planetes

“The story of Planetes follows the crew of the DS-12 “Toy Box” of the Space Debris Section, a unit of Technora Corporation. Debris Section’s purpose is to prevent the damage or destruction of satellites, space stations and spacecraft from collision with debris in Earth’s and the Moon’s orbits. They use a number of methods to dispose of the debris (mainly by burning it via atmospheric re-entry or through salvage), accomplished through the use of EVA suits.

The episodes sometimes revolve around debris collection itself, but more often the concept of collecting “trash” in space is merely a storytelling method for building character development. The members of the Debris Section are looked down upon as the lowest members of the company and they must work hard to prove their worth to others and accomplish their dreams.”

~Wiki~

I saw this show many moons ago … I bloody LOVED it. Really, it’s a damn good bit of anime that no single human should be without. The basics of the show are “bin men, in space” which sounds crap and you fully expect everyone to fly around in space suits being super cool. It isn’t. It makes the whole idea of space more believable. Not everyone is a chisel jawed space man, their all just people and act so. Rather that full cool figure hugging space suit they wear big baggy suits that only the gloves and helmets they own as the suits are expensive. It’s as how you expect space to be in 20-50years, mundane.

It’s just a really well done bit of work. It also looks bloody lovely. The director (Goro Taniguchi) wanted to bankrupt the animation company with this show and it really shows. It also has a brilliant story, it goes from a nice little ride then drops into the depths of despair as Hachimaki (another main character) slowly slips away from the crew and everyone else as his ambitions slowly destroy him.

Really, just go find it, sit down and watch. It’s awesome.

WTF? Non-anime: The Venture Bros

The Venture Bros. is an American animated television series airing as part of Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. It chronicles the adventures of two dopey teenage boys, Hank and Dean Venture; their super-scientist father, Dr. Thaddeus “Rusty” Venture; and the family bodyguard, secret agent Brock Samson

~Wiki~

Right, non anime recommendation, why? Because it’s my blog and I really like this show. Remember all those crappy shows you used to watch in the morning (Scooby Doo, Johnny Quest and the like)? Well Venture Bro’s is a parody of 90% and it doses it well. It has silly over the top villains who have their own league. Stupid inventions and the two main characters (Dean    & Hank) really don’t feature too much but you don’t really care as their both idiots (like proper kids in Saturday morning cartoons). Really, again just go find an episode. You’ll giggle like an idiot or just find the sort of violence Brock Samson can do is shocking.

Right, that’s all for this week. Come back next week when I might really make a proper post of some sort.

Allotments and Crash.

Big_Adam

Posted in Tv, Film on March 10, 2008 at 1:09 am

Thanks to an old friend of mine (aka TV) I’ve seen some rather good stuff today and because of it I will now prattle on about it.

So … I shall begin.

Allotments - I watched “Around the world in 80 Gardens” and saw the most amazing thing. Not some massive garden of some palace but an allotment. This allotment proved to me that England isn’t the place to live. This allotment was at the bottom of a waterfall. In Rome or somethings. It was a massive thing with grapes, tomatoes and all sort of lovely things, a brick shed and oven. It was a little oasis but it was an allotment. Switch to the UK and an allotment is a bit of brown with some plants, few veg and an old boy looking after it.

Something went very wrong when we (as a nation) didn’t move at some point to one of these sunny far away lands with nice weather and what not.

Anyway, enough about that.

Crash.

This was just on channel 4 (the good one, not the f**ked up one) and I must say it’s a marvel of a film to watch. It was interesting, well shot, each character well defined. It just worked really well as a film and even though it follows four or five story lines at a time it doesn’t feel muddled and you can follow it really easily.

So, if it comes on again you should watch it.

Ermm…thats about it really.

Peace.

My anime of 2007, anime for 2008!

Big_Adam

Posted in Tv, Anime on January 18, 2008 at 8:06 pm

Well, we’re half way into the first month so I best do a proper anime roundup … review … thing.

2007 was a pretty good year for anime. Some cracking shows about, new series made, new season continued. Sure a few dry spells but still some good stuff out.

We had the parody brilliance of Lucky Star.

The dark brooding excellence of Death Note.

The random cute slightly Azumang-ish series Minami-ke.

The twisted humor of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

Guts, death and blood of Claymore.

The freeky thing of Potemayo and the excellence of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

But my overall anime winner of 2007 has to be….

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

The series follows the Simon, a young lad who’s only talent is digging holes. He’s life is rather boring (think Nandaba Naota of FLCL and you’re there) but he has man Kamina to help him. Kamina and Simon town is underground, it’s the way it is, always had. Kamina has ideas for the surface and attempts to break free only to fail and be locked up. Mean time Simon find…..”something” and goes to help Kamina out of prison (dirt walls mean nothing to Simon The Drill!) it’s around this time a giant mech falls through the roof of their village along with Yoko (a scantly clad woman with a sniper rifle) and the story goes from there. I won’t say much but there’s giant robots, some kick ass fight bit and one of the BIGGEST sucker punch ending ever. Which will make you cry. Really it will.

Really, TTGL has everything, robot, boobs, mole pigs, sword fight scene, really what more could you want. All packaged with a cracking story and some lovely animation! Pure anime perfection.

Now, thats last year. So what have the good people of the UK got coming this year!

2008

Now, these are series coming to DVD. Not fansubbed stuff. All proper legit legal animes for you’re shelfs at home. I’ve seen most of the series here so I can give a good review….I think.

Hell Girl - the basic premise of the series circles around a website that you can go to and write someones name on at midnight then “Hell Girl” comes and kills them. Thats the basic idea but it goes much deeper. Hell Girl, for each life two graves are dug. One for the person to die and one for the person who wished they would die. Both souls get dragged down to hell. So Hell Girl herself isn’t really the main focus instead it’s the people who want other people to die. It’s a really interesting idea. You want these people get beaten and downtrodden by someone then Hell Girl comes you think “yay! the git’s going to die” then you remember that the persons going to die too. But hell Girl gives a choice. A doll is given, when the string is remove the person dies and the contract is made. So you get to watch these people go through the struggle of choice. It’s a very good series the only problem is it was a bit samey from ep to ep. The basic structure of each ep is pretty much the same and as new people are used each time you get to the point of “oh, pull the bloody string and get on with it”. Which is a bit bad. But the show looks really good, lovely voice work. It’s by no means a bad series, just a renter really.

Pumpkin Scissors - Don’t let the name put you off, this has nothing to do with either. The story revolves around the Pumpkin Scissor brigade in a post war world (just after WW1 sort of world). They give support to areas in need and are seen as the “cheer squad” of the army. The squad headed by Alice L. Malvin and made up of Warrant Officer Martis, Warrant Officer Oreldo, Sergeant Major Lili Stecchin, Corporal Randel Oland and Mer-kun (the dog) go on mission that don’t go right. The 1st is where Corporal Randel Oland a monster sized man with a heart of a peaceful man from the legendary ATT (Anti-Tank Trooper(yep, he shoots tanks…in the face)) is introduced. It’s also where you get a good idea of the world their in. After the war there’s lots of machinery about that shouldn’t be an on more than one occasion is bough by the rich to shoot the poor. Pretty much Pumpkin Scissor go and stop bad people. You know what, it’s a BRILLIANT series. The animation is smooth and silky and you really learn to love the characters in the series , even some of the baddies in the series. When this comes out here (March) you MUST buy it, watch it and love it. Problem is it does sorta just stop. Which is annoying.

Black Lagoon - This series follows a more modern idea of pirates. It’s not a “shiver me timbers” sort of show. It’s a explosion filled, beer drinking, tropical sort of illegal pirates. The series revolves around the crew of Black Lagoon Company, as they do mostly illegal stuff in their torpedo boat. It’s a proper action anime set more in the real world. 1st few eps around about Rock (a kidnapped business man) who after being kidnapped is then taken drinking with Revy (an extraordinary shooter) which is then followed by one hell of a gun fight. It’s not all bullet and explosion but it mostly is. Some really nice touches in the series such as the ex-army mob boss (Balalaika) having to edit hardcore porn beacuse she’s the only one who can be arsed to do it. It’s just really well scripted….for the 1st season . The 2nd season (about two kids Hansel and Grete who sorta eat people for fun) dragged on a bit in places but when Roberta shows up it get good again. If you want hardcore action anime then Black Lagoon is for you. Out around March. If not for action then for the line “mary, jeasus, peanut butter” said after one massive crash.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Okay, if you don’t know about this seires and call yourself an anime fan then you must now go outside and shoot yourself. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TMoHS) is possibly one of the greatest series to ever exsist on the planet. It starts with (oddly) ep 2 (the series isn’t meant to be show as in 1-2-3, it’s more 2-3-1. Just believe me) where Haruhi is introduced (as is Kyon, the world is really from his prospective) a girl who on her 1st day of school says “any esper, aliens or time travelers I want to be you’re freind” (can’t find the proper quote, but it’s along those lines) then promptly sits down. It really just grows from there, can’t say much as it will ruin it but it’s a series you need to see 4 or 5 times to understand. It’s another very very good series coming out. Not just for the comedy and aliens but for the silk animation and brilliant music that goes with it. If you EVER see this on a self, you buy it, don’t question it just buy it and be prepared to laugh like a loon.

Naruto - …. guess I have to say something about it. There’s going to be more of this chopped up crap soon. Thats it. I don’t like Naruto.

Devil May Cry - Many of you are going to know this from the games but it’s also been made into an animated series. Now, I’ve only watched on ep so my view is going to be a bit limited. It’s in a similar vein to the Hellsing series. Some very well done action bits but … it’s not my thing. Nothing wrong with the series, hell if you’re a fan you may like it very much. Not my thing so I really can’t say much. I can say it will be out around 3/4 of this year. So a long old wait.

Think that will do for now. I’ll do some more on upcoming in 2008.

The Glowing Picture Box.

Big_Adam

Posted in Tv on November 9, 2007 at 1:09 am

As I’m fairly sure no one will give a fuzzy rats rectum about my mental/physical/spiritual state I though another post was in order.

This time Tv, or the glowing picture box of lies.

I don’t tend to watch much telly on the telly. Too many adverts and soaps. If I spot something in the Tv guide or it’s late at night I’ll give it a go past that the telly is either off or on a video game of some sort.

But now a new pain emerges which is the “digital switchover” or the “we want you to spend money to watch the same old crap but in a new way - switchover” which brings up a question for me.

Should I bother?

Apart from channel Dave I really can’t see any point in me getting digital. I’d also need to do some wiring and general pissing about in order to make the whole lot work then I’ll find there’s a newer version of it and blah blah blah you get the idea.

“But hold on Adam” I hear you cry. There is news and other lovely channels that mean nothing and interactive. None of which I again give a fuzzy rats about. TV for me is becoming a pain as it tend to show crap to people in a constant stream or fear people into crapping themselves beacuse of something new.

So why pay the £30 or so to get a box that beams more of this stuff into my home?

The other question I have (sorry, posts all over the place. Blame Jimi Hendrix - Bold As Love) is if they turn off all the “old” system then would I need to pay TV license?

I’d have no box with which to watch new digital with. Hell I’d burn my old kit as I wouldn’t need it. Or would the TV police  raid my room for illegal TV’s?

What about all the old folks too? I know some are up to date but others are not so when their TV goes “bloop” and is off what the hell are they going to think?

Then again the switch will probly cause mass panic as people wouldn’t be able to see East Enders or Hollyoaks or some crap like that.

I’m going bed.

God I love you Internet!

Big_Adam

Posted in Tv, Reader on August 12, 2007 at 1:39 am

I’m watching “Who’s Line Is It Anyway” with Richard Simmons (that overly energetic health nut), all thanks to the power of the internet. You know what, IT’S FREEKIN GREAT!No adverts, no crap, no waiting through the titles you’ve seen 50000 times before. Just click and then it works. I don’t know why I even still have a TV antenna in my room. All thats on is Big Brother of Eastenders, I don’t have digital so I don’t get the digital progs anymore.

It’s not just Tv, get a good array of comics (Marvel have too many adverts) and a wealth of information (or Wiki) all at my very finger tips. The power, THE POWER!

Who would think that many years ago someone thought “I could put a wee cable into peoples home and they could get almost any information they could want……or porn”.

And just a few years ago we where all on dial up or netless back in the bad old days of the internet and napster was free.

And now you can get full film made by some person you’ve never heard about in spain. Read peoples novels, look at boobs all from the comfort of your big leather office chair.

…or you can do a blog….where people can read about you and what you do…

….never got why thought.

Weird.
