The Custom PC Benchmarks 2007 are nearing completion and the bug-testing phase is about ready to start. Hopefully, we’ll be able to start using them in anger in Issue 49 (the October issue, out 23 August) and they should be available for you to download by then too.
There will also be a new Benchmarks Leaderboard that will (fingers crossed) be much easier for us to manage than the current leaderboard, which means duplicate entries should be a thing of the past.
The new Benchmarks are pretty tough so it will be interesting to see who gets the fastest score!
