Sports photographers rejoice, actually, anyone that has tried to capture some fast-paced action with a digital camera can rejoice, because now you need not end up with blurry half captured subjects anymore.
Enter the Phantom Miro, by Vision Research.
It can take 1,000 images a second at 800×600 resolution, and even more if you crank the resolution down. So if you feel like taking a picture of a balloon po
pping or a bullet leaving a gun, this is going to get the job done a lot better than your regular point-and-shoot.
Don’t believe me? Well take a look for yourself - I recommend this and this for starters.
That’s a video camera though Adam, the one that I blogged about is a stills camera.
Wait….so….why?
I mean megaslow pictures do noramlly look very cool and I am a lover of slow motion film. But why get a camera that can do 1000 fps for photo’s?
Or am I being too simple.
I dunno mate.
It’s not something I’d personally have more than a passing interest in.
Big_Adam, because if you capture a lightning with a normal camcorder you will see less than 4 pictures where the lightning exists (actually you will see 1 or 2) and not the motion, but if you make 1000 or more FPS it will be a nice little video ![]()
