Episode 21 of the Custom PC podcast

Posted at: Friday 3rd October 2008 by Alex Watson

It's Friday, so we've got a fresh new episode of the podcast, with the team debating DRM in games, Nvidia's new GTX 260 and wondering if Warcraft is under threat from Warhammer

Custom PC podcast

'Like a sack of heavy, marble filled bananas' - Alex

Find out what PC technology could possibly be comparable to metal fruit, along with the CPC team's take on the latest tech news by downloading or listening to our latest podcast. Editor Alex hosts the show, and is joined by James, Mark and Antony. The panel looks at Nvidia's recently launched revised GeForce GTX 260 wth 216 steam processors, and takes Epic loud-mouth CliffyB to task for his comments about PC game piracy.

The top 10 games chart is full with the first of the Autumn's big triple AAA titles, including Warhammer Online, Spore, Crysis: Warhead and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, which we discuss in full. The Guess The Game Music competition returns as well.

@Daisuke

When I said in the forum thread that I had "mastered recording with Garageband", I clearly meant "completed one tutorial and still have a lot to learn" :p
