Make your own thermal epoxy

Use surplus Araldite and TIM to glue a heatsink in place.

yes!

I did this very thing last week. I considered purchasing thermal glue but then decided I couldn't wait. So I took some slow setting epoxy (I don't have any araldite at the moment) and mixed in a small tube of unbranded thermal paste. I then used the past to bond the 2 metal surfaces together so I'd have a custom waterblock to cool the PWM on my motherboard.
