Verdict: Quiet, fast & good value

Brilliant drive. I have had no problems with the drive what-so-ever! It is good value for money and still stands its own with newer larger drives. If you have the money go for the F1 750Gb or 1TB drives though!

Review Title: RMA

Verdict: Great customer service, can\'t recommend the drive.

Well my friend got great service, we\'d already run Hutil so Samsung RMA\'d the drive no problems. 5 day turn around on a new drive turning up. Shame this one is fried worse than the first, couldn\'t even install XP. Hutil doesn\'t even pass simple tests and even came up with the classic \"this drive has problems detected\" (or some such).

Review Title: Reliability?

Verdict: Fast and quiet drive

Recommended this drive to a friend who was building a new system a few months ago, it was working fine till yesterday when it blue screened. Samsung utility reports media errors detected on a full surface scan. Search on the web shows this to be quite common, waiting to see how Samsung handle the return.

Review Title: Quiet and fast

Verdict: Very quiet and rapid harddrive.

Just bought one of these, again another purchase based on the Elite Rating given by CPC. I have not been dissapointed. Performs very well, and is incredibly quiet.
