Verdict: An excellent no frills monitor. If it had height adjustment and a USB hub it would be 100%.
This was my first dedicated LCD monitor purchase so I relied upon reviews to get the best product I could afford. Based on the elite listing, I bought one of these to run with an 8800GT 512Mb and am very pleased that I did. Great for PC gaming and DVD viewing, crystal clear, and with no dead pixels. So pleased with it that I recommended it to my wife\\\'s boss, sent him a link to the review and he bought one too.
Verdict: Performs brilliantly in all areas, even if you can\\\'t adjust the height!
I have been using this monitor for the last 6 months and the only complaint that I have about it is the fact that you can\\\'t adjust the height of the monitor. Setting up the monitor was a breeze, just plug it in, install the drivers and away you go. Games and movies are displayed perfectly, and is the TV picture. This is a very comfortable TFT to use on a daily basis, text and images are displayed clearly…
And I have no dead pixels either!
Verdict: Great monitor but still has dead pixel issues..
Got my SM206BW today and i have to say it look stunning. The picture is cristal clear. But i was a bit dissapointed to find a dead pixel in the left hand corner of my screen. After reading the review and the no dead pixel policy i was sure that it wouldnt be an issue.
Aside from that its perfect.
