The 80GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 might grab your attention, as it's the cheapest drive on test. Neither is it the slowest, slipping past the lowest-rated disks in our Gimp image editing test, although its Crysis loading time was one of the longest. Unfortunately, being the cheapest disk doesn't necessarily mean that it's good value for money. As with other 80GB drives, the price per GB is even higher than it is for terabyte drives. If you're on a budget, choosing 80GB is a false economy. Forego a couple of pints this week, and opt for a 160GB or 250GB drive instead.
