Verdict: Not the best on test but decent, considering the asking price
Apparently this isn't just any normal Logitech headset; this is an extreme headset, whatever that means. According to the packaging, not only is it great for making Internet voice calls but it's also ideal for 'taunting your enemies'. I assume that Logitech is referring to online games such as Unreal Tournament 2004, as opposed to, say, the taxman.
This Logitech headset manages to just pip the Altec Lansing for the cheapest on test, coming in at less than a score. Like the Sennheiser PC 140, it's of the neckband variety with a single cable, so it won't get tangled up. However, it doesn't have the same plush feel. That said, it's lightweight and comfortable, though not as comfortable as the PC140.
Design-wise, this headset benefits from an easily adjustable microphone and a volume control with mute switch. The microphone plug is a garish pink.
Our test recording was one of the better samples, and music reproduction is reasonable too.
