Verdict: This headset is spookily similar to the Sennheiser PC130. Well, it's not that spooky - it's the same
The Terratec Mystify Commander was the last headset we looked at, and we immediately noticed something strangely familiar about it. Actually it wasn't much of mystery at all - it's quite clearly a re-badged Sennheiser PC130.
But if you're going to sell someone else's headset under your own name then this one is an excellent choice, and everything we said about the Sennheiser PC130 applies here too. The only real difference is the colour scheme - Terratec has applied colour coding to both the headphone and microphone sockets, making them green and pink respectively.
The headphone covers are all black, with Terratec and Mystify logos on the sides. The effect is pretty striking, so this headset will make quite an impression at a LAN party. Of course, this may or may not be a plus point, depending on whether impressing a room full of sweaty geeks is your thing.
The choice between Mystify Commander or the Sennheiser PC130 is basically down to what you think of the colour scheme, as in all other respects they're identical.
