Water-Cooling Kits: LGA775
Water, water, everywhere, and not a drop to drink. At least, not if you've built your water-cooling system properly and itn't leaking

Verdict: Nearly as big, and twice as cool as a polar bear
Although this Asetek model isn't the largest kit in this test - that dubious honour goes to the Koolance Exos and Exos-2 external kits - it has the biggest radiator.
The mammoth radiator is capable of mounting three 120mm fans, so you'll need an area of at least 395 x 30 x 130mm inside your case in order to fit it. The only case we've found that can fit a triple radiator and still have room for a couple of drives is the Cooler Master Stacker, otherwise you'll have to cut a suitably sized hole in your case. But if you do have the space to mount the radiator, it's capable of stunning cooling performance. Just like the single-radiator Asetek kit, the 03-L-5012, this kit includes a separate pump and reservoir, which are connected by 10mm ID tubing. There's also a controller that changes the fan's input voltage to either 7V or 12V. The pump is the large Hydro L30, which moves 70 per cent more water per hour than the smaller L20 included in the single-fan radiator kit.
Installed in our Athlon 64 test rig, the Asetek cooled the CPU to 24ûC below the reference AMD HSF at 7V, and 25ûC below at 12V. The tiny difference shows that, at 7V, this kit is more than capable of dissipating the heat output of an overclocked and overvolted Athlon 64. As with the 03-L-5012, you have to buy a 03-L-7503 adaptor to make this kit compatible with LGA775 CPUs. Once installed, the Asetek cooled our test Pentium 4e to 23ûC below the reference Intel HSF at 7V, and to 26ûC below at 12V.
These tests show that this Asetek kit is more than capable of keeping an overclocked Athlon 64 or Pentium 4e super-cool without having to resort to phase-change cooling. However, you'd really be missing the point if you water cooled just your CPU - the awesome heat dissipation capability means this Asetek kit is crying out to be attached to your system's CPU(s), Northbridge and graphics card(s).
