If you enjoyed firing head crabs from the Gravity Gun in Half-Life 2, then just wait until you see what you can do in BioShock. 2K Games has just released a selection of trailers for the forthcoming game, which show some ingenious new methods that you can employ to torture your enemies in action.
These include unleashing hordes of insects upon them, as well as freezing them so that they shatter like a liquid-nitrogen-covered-Terminator when you fire anything at them. As well as this, there's also a Gravity Gun-style feature that lets you pick up corpses and hurl them around, as well as catch grenades and throw them back.
The game's website promises that the BioShock will be the 'first "genetically enhanced" first person shooter that lets you do things never before possible in the genre: turn everything into a weapon, biologically mod your body with plasmids, hack devices and systems, upgrade your weapons and craft new ammo variants, and experiment with different battle techniques in an incredible and unique underwater city.'
It all looks like a tremendous amount of fun to us, and we can't wait to have a go on it. Check out the five trailers below to see the game in action:
