The CPC team rack their brains to think of ways to save AMD, and discuss the new HD trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV

We've just put the finishing touches to the eighth episode of the Custom PC podcast, and it's available for free download right now.

In this episode, CPC editor Gareth returns as host, and is joined by Features Editor Alex and our Deputy Reviews Editor, Clive.

Up first for discussion is ATi's new mid-range graphics card, the Radeon HD 2600XT, and we've had our first glimpse of Grand Theft Auto IV. In the wake of the Manhunt 2 ban, there's a lot riding on Rockstar's next game.

We also discuss the ongoing trouble the music industry is having adapting to the online world - HMV is relaunching its online store with DRM-free MP3s, but will this be enough?

Finally, we try and come up with some ideas to save AMD - with Intel and Nvidia piling on the pressure, the firm needs some help.
