Top 20 PC games chart

Justice is served as BioShock takes the number 1 spot, while The Sims isn't even in the top 3

As we predicted last week, BioShock has finally put a stop to all this Sims nonsense at the top of the chart. It just goes to show that not even dodgy copy protection issues, poor WHQL driver support or shunning Radeon X800 cards can stop a good game from topping the chart. If you haven't played BioShock, then punch yourself in the face before you let any other great games pass you by. It looks incredible, even on DirectX 9 hardware, and the Art Deco styling is awesome. Meanwhile, Command & Conquer 3's ascension means that we now have a completely Sims-free top 3. Okay, so the rest of the chart might be littered with Sims titles, but there are also plenty of decent games holding their own, not least the Dawn of War Anthology, which has risen to number 11.

huh?

I'm more than glad than anyone that The Sims are getting a bashing however, but I strongly disagree that the Wii should be destroyed! like wth? This console is a revolution in gaming, it keeps you fit, is fun to use, is different from all other consoles and has great potential for games - the controls you use are one of a kind and more realistic than any other type of controller (par a gun controller); consider golf games before Wii ... you press and hold a button for strength of shot/accuracy.. with the Wii, you take a real swing!

Ye Olde Computer Users!!

For those who are fuming at the game of bioshock for not allowing their old graphics cards such as the x800 or radeon series.... err yeh... hello ?! wake up call perhaps? We are in the 21st century not the 16th !!! New games, New Hardware, DX10 on the verge of great success, Hardware flying so fast that by the time you buy it its out of date, and software still flying along.... its about time they brought out a game that not only sounds great, but visually astounding ! Game developers have started to realise just like the software industry that many people are spending on brand new up-to-date hardware but are unable to do anything but play tetris and sims... Games that allow almost all users with old hardware aswell as new hardware play, makes the game seem not at all great visually... impacting on the whole gameplay itself You Want BioShock ? Get it And UPGRADE! Its as simple as that 8600GT would be viable options at only £70 with medium+ settings and probably the same in dx10 ! Get with the program :)
