Verdict: Expensive, and probably not worth the upgrade from an 8800GTX and some of the better 8series, but from lesser cards and people without SLI mobo's, its as good as it gets.
I bought the BFG varient very soon after launch. The package is basic with the only items worth noting being the 8-pin power adaptor and an HDMI cable.
It was a little tricky to install with it being so large, though I can forgive as this card is not a card at all.
I think graphics "unit" would be a more fitting term, you would do some serious damage if you were to drop one on someones head. (to thier head that is, the card would be ok!)
The L.E.D status lights are a nice touch and the whole thing feels solid and of high quality.
There are some issues with connectors not fitting quite right, but I did not have this problem, once the retainer clips on the plug were manuvered slightly, it all clipped in nice and snug.
Heat... this baby isnt shy about letting off steam, and a slight negative is that a lot of heat is vented inside the case, good case airflow and a fan on the side panel just for the GX2 I recomend.
Performance, well im sure you have seen the many benches, its the best "single" card solution by a comfortable margin.
Latest drivers have fixed the one minor bug that I had, the "printscreen/UAC" glitch and some slight performance gains are evident.
In summary, do I think I spent to much on this card? YES!
Do I regret buying it? NO!!! I'm sure we will be very happy together!
